the Scrapaholics Hideaway

13-Step Program

With “love and support” we at the Scrapaholics Hideaway will help the "Scrap-Addicted" learn the following:

Step 1 ...To gather, sort and organize the truckload of pictures stored in     shoeboxes under the bed, in the closet and other unique storage places...

Step 2 ...To distinguish between archival (the “good stuff”) and acidic (the “bad stuff”) scrapbooking supplies...

Step 3 ...To remember not to throw away any piece of paper bigger than your smallest punch...

Step 4 ...To include yourself in at least one picture at each event so that people viewing your scrapbooks will know you really existed...

Step 5 ...To never leave home without your camera since every day is a potential photo op...

Step 6 ...To spend more time scrapbooking and less time stock piling supplies... (well, maybe it's okay to spend a little time buying supplies at the Hideaway)

Step 7 ...To not be ashamed of having your Creative Memories rep see all your non-CM supplies (diversity is a GOOD thing)!

Step 8 ...To not dress your children in certain colors in order to match paper, stickers and diecuts you just purchased...

Step 9 ...To discover 101 new ways to use the hundreds of stickers you have stashed in your paper sticker binder...

Step 10 ...To keep from planning your family vacations around stops to the scrapbook stores in the area (Utah, here we come!)...

Step 11 ...To keep your scrapbooking supplies from migrating from a small table, to a larger table, to the dining room, to the living room, to the couch AND your kid’s rooms!

Step 12 ...To realize you don't have to use all TEN pictures of the SAME pose in a layout (five of them will do!)

Step 13 ...To realize that you CAN’T claim your scrapbooking purchases as a medical expense even though you ARE using them for “Scrap Therapy”…
