My name is Patti Bourassa and I began scrapbooking more than 15 years ago … back in the days when most albums were 3-ring binders and archival safe scrapbooking products had to be purchased online from places out in Utah, Arizona or California!

I am married to a very supportive husband of nearly 15 years -- although my husband Dennis has not yet discovered the "joys" of creating his own scrapbooks, he recognizes the value of preserving our family memories and won't hesitate to sing the praises of my scrapbooks. He is even learning the names of some of the products I carry!!

I am also the mother of a very active teenager, Jeremy, who has created some wonderful layouts of his own and has gotten the hang of being one of the main subjects of his mom's photographs. He's even learned to "pose" on cue! He has become a regular at the Crop Therapy Sessions and is "in training" to become an excellent Scrap Therapist when he grows up!

After talking about it for years, I took the plunge in June of 2003 and opened the "Scrapaholics Hideaway". Nestled in the hills on the edge of Norwich, Connecticut, the Hideaway is a cozy crop room where you can relax, kick off your shoes, share ideas with old friends, and maybe find the perfect product for your layout…

My goal is to provide a "crop room" away from home where you can find motivation, inspiration and some of the latest and greatest scrapbooking products on the market … and I hope to fill a void that has been in this area for a long time by bringing all day crops and workshops to our corner of the world…

Although I do not have set store hours, I am just a phone call away if you need a little "Scrap Therapy" and or absolutely must have that special sticker or piece of cardstock for your layout!! Most nights you can find me home in the crop room, so call to stop by and shop!! Chances are if it's a Friday night, there's a crop going on at the Hideaway, and the store is open!!
